Reject Prince Abubakar Audu, Faleke, Kogi Indigenes in Lagos warn voters.

Coalition of Kogi indigenous and Towns Associations in Lagos state, Kogi People in Lagos, KPL has warned voters in the state to reject the All Progressive Congress, APC governorship candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu and his running mate, Hon. James Faleke at the state's forthcoming gubernatorial election.

The group in a statement lamented that the APC has presented candidates with tinted records in governance and delivery of dividend of democracy for the state.

This was according to a statement signed by the group's coordinator Mr. Adebukola Ebenezer Tuesday in Lagos.

"A vote for APC in our state is a vote for slavery, our people must remain focus and sustain the current developmental strides in the states."

The group lamented that Faleke during his political sojourn in Lagos never identified with the state, describing him as a longtime lost son of the state who has no good relationship with Kogi indegenes across the globe.

"Faleke has lost contact with his state since came to Lagos in 1985 as a corps member, he never recognized us Kogi indigenes and neither was he in touch with his state.

"Audu on the other hand is a former Governor that the families he sacked from state service will never forget him in a hurry."

The group therefore stated that it will make sure all its members go to their towns and villages in Kogi state to educate the people and make sure they vote for a credible governorship candidate with human face, since APC has failed to present one.
